THE TRUE VALUE OF THINGS
Worth is not measured in years, a famous saying that takes on its full significance here. Therefore, the certificate we provide indicates the current list price of the watch, if it is still available for sale. Otherwise, the document will indicate the price in Swiss Francs from when it was last sold by the Maison.
STEPS TO TAKE
To draw up a Certificate for Insurance Purposes, you do not need to have your watch examined by our experts. However, we invite you to provide the case number and movement number of the piece at one of our exclusive Boutiques or authorized retailers. If these numbers are not visible from the outside of the watch, we can of course help you find them in store. If you wish, you may also contact our Counselors, who will inform you of the cost for this service.
APPRAISING VINTAGE WATCHES
To obtain an estimate of the value of a timepiece on the collectors’ watch market, we advise you to contact a specialist auction house. In order to protect your property, Vacheron Constantin will not provide any information about our vintage timepieces by telephone.
